In September 2024, the Quebec English School Boards Association (QESBA), in collaboration with education and community partners including QUESCREN, hosted the CARE conference in Montreal.

This bilingual conference report captures key discussions and learnings from the event, which focused on five central themes: sustainability; programs and expertise; strengthening community links; government relations; best practices and advocacy.

The conference brought together stakeholders to strengthen the connection between Quebec’s English-language public education system and the broader official language minority community it serves.

Two infographics produced by QUESCREN for the ILET Research Hub are also available, based on presentations at the conference. One highlights the role of vocational training. The other outlines recent policy and legislative changes affecting the English-language education network since 2020.
