This Lunch & Learn examined three intercultural twinning projects carried at John Abbott College. These were designed to enhance student motivation for French language learning and improve their intercultural communication skills. Despite initial hesitation from some students, Maria Popica says the outcomes were largely successful: Anglophone students demonstrated increased willingness to learn French, and their confidence in speaking improved.
