Insights from rights holder parents in Quebec

Speakers:

  • Joanne Pattison-Meek, Assistant Professor, Director of Practice Teaching, School of Education, Bishop’s University
  • Andréanne Langevin, Ph.D. student, Faculty of Education, McGill University

During this webinar, Joanne Pattison-Meek and Andréanne Langevin presented their research exploring rights holder parents’ experiences navigating English schooling in rural areas across Québec. A goal of this research is to examine the ways language of instruction policies influence rights holder parents’ school choice and impact their children’s school experiences in rural contexts.

This presentation was organized in conjunction with the publication of a QUESCREN Working Paper on the same topic.
